Piano
Teaching
With over 10 years of teaching experience, Will is a highly accomplished piano tutor suitable for all ages and standards. Specialising in jazz and pop music, Will is competent teaching all styles of music whether it's the traditional 'classical' approach, music that is more contemporary, or anything in between.
Throughout his teaching, Will makes sure to focus on all aspects of music, to develop a rounded sense of musicianship. Time is also spent on building technical skills, sight-reading and aural abilities, as well as a focus on music theory.
Adding a personal touch, Will travels to every student's house for their lessons but as such, requires a minimum lesson time of 45 minutes payable either weekly, or at the beginning of each half term.
Despite its inclusion within Will's piano lessons, he also offers music theory tuition as a stand-alone lesson. Music theory is the vital knowledge necessary for the development of any musician to be able to progress with a full understanding and competency of music. An element not covered by most instrumental teachers, Will makes learning theory an interesting and enjoyable process appropriate for any age.

Reviews
Will is a great teacher and role model both for learning the piano and music more generally. It’s not all about the grades for us but the love of playing and he certainly instils that in our son.
Will has helped re-inspire our daughter into a joy of playing the piano after a run of bad experiences with school lessons. He makes lessons exciting and she is always at the piano practicing!
Will has such an incredible way of engaging my children in the piano and will happily go down different routes depending on what they want to learn and what is interesting them.
Will has always been so flexible and reliable when organising lessons and is always willing to accommodate our busy timetable! My daughter never had an interest in music until she started piano lessons and now she can't get enough!
